No VAT is added to these prices. Limits on Pro and Scale customers, items and emails are fair use and raised on request.
Questions
Do I need a card to start?
No. Every new business gets 30 days of Pro free, without a card, so nobody can be charged by surprise.
What happens after the free trial?
If you haven’t chosen a paid plan, your business moves to Free. Nothing is deleted or locked: you keep every invoice, and can send up to 5 a month.
Is it VAT compliant?
Yes. Invoices carry everything Irish VAT rules ask for: your VAT number, sequential numbers, the VAT rate and amount on each line, and a breakdown by rate. Credit notes refer to the invoice they correct.
Can my accountant use it?
Yes. Invite them to your business and give them the role that suits. One person can belong to several businesses, so accountants can switch between their clients.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. There are no contracts. Cancel whenever you like: you keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then move to Free with all your invoices.
Where is my data stored?
On secure servers, used only to run Zulu. Issued invoices are kept for six years, as Irish law requires, even if you delete your account.
Can I add credit notes on Free?
Yes. Credit notes are unlimited on every plan and never count towards a limit.
